The site has flexible, multi-product manufacturing capabilities and facilities focused on vaccines intermediates, drug substance, and gene therapy drug substance and drug product. Full scope of vaccine manufacturing capabilities take place at this site as well as end to end gene therapy capabilities including drug product formulation and filling. This site has experience in supporting tech transfer, optimization, and commercialization to deliver breakthrough medicines globally.
Sanford has been certified as a Carolina STAR site since 2007 - which recognize the implementation of effective safety and health management.
